Tolsa completed the purchase of assets and mining claims of Rock Springs Minerals and US Bentonite in late December of 2014. Since December, they’ve run preliminary trials, staffed the facility and are in the process of initial production runs. Tosla has invested millions of dollars since the acquisition and has more scheduled and budgeted for 2016 with the clear intent of expanding operations in Wyoming and throughout the US. As a 60+ year old family owned mineral extraction company, Tosla currently operates in over 90 countries with production and processing facilities in 11 of those countries. With a presence in the US since 2010, the Casper acquisition is the culmination of many years of searching for the right avenue into the US bentonite market.
